How it works

Choose two languages

Choose your own language in the header. Choose the language you are learning above the text.

Read as usual

The text is shown in your language. Some of the sentences are replaced with the same sentences in the language you are learning.

Check the meaning

Point the mouse at a replaced sentence. The original sentence appears above it, and both versions can be listened to.

Increase the share

When reading becomes easier, move the slider to the right. When the slider is at the end, the whole text is in the language you are learning.

Browser add-ons

The browser add-on does the same thing on any web page you open. It translates and speaks without the internet. The add-on will appear in the stores soon.

Which languages can I learn here?

The list contains the languages for which your browser has a voice. This way every sentence can be listened to.

What is the language in the header for?

The language in the header is your own language. The whole site and the texts are shown in this language. The selected share of sentences is replaced with the language you are learning. The site remembers your choice.

Where is my text sent?

Your text is not sent anywhere. The translation and the speech are made inside your browser. The site stores only the models that you decided to download.

Why does the site ask me to download something?

If your browser has no built-in translator, the translation and the speech are done by local models. You download them once. They stay on your device, and their size is shown at the bottom of the page.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free. There is no account and no subscription.
